Sepia.

"Sepia," choreographed by Christina Dunnington, is an original piece that was set on Kayla Clancy, Dania Lanaa, Brooke Manker, Eliana Slaney, and Xedera Townsend. The piece debuted in November 2018 at the Senior Seminar Draft Concert, Anomalous, at Towson University. "Sepia" has appeared in other choreographic showcases included Artistry Unfolded, curated by Project Moshen, as well as the Ascending Choreographers Festival at the Warehouse Theatre.

Inspired by the idea of sensations, "Sepia" explores the power of touch of oneself and between others. The audience is challenged to engage with the dancers through various, uncomfortable non-verbal communication tactics. Technique, combined with freedom and improvisation, creates a mysterious, abstract atmosphere that keeps the viewer questioning what they are actually witnessing.
